We drove to the top of Monte Bisbino this morning via Cernobbio. It was 40KM, one way, from the house with at least 15KM of single lane, tortuous switchbacks. The day was clear and the views were incredible.

We were talking about you at Mah Jongg this morning. The girls are sorry you have to leave to go to Wisconsin, even though I TOLD them it was for the wedding.
I've been enjoying your blog all this summer. Thanks so much. I think I'll try Mt. Generoso next year. I look at the pictures so often and they remind me of what a wonderful time we had over there last summer. Joan, I even got a small pot of basil for my deck!
I can hardly wait until next year on Lago di Como. See you in a couple of weeks.
