Into the pool

Our pool.

The clothes dryer.

Today I did several loads of laundry and hung them on the rack to dry. We don't have a dryer. Most Italians don't as electricity is so expensive. The rack was along side the house near the pool where we have placed it several times to take advantage of the sunlight. We left and came back a couple of hours later in time for naps for the boys. I went down to fold the clothes, but the rack had disappeared. I found it in the bottom of the swimming pool. Gene heard my curses and came down to see what was going on. He then said that it was time for his nap. See you later. Ha-Ha. Gene offered to retrieve it, got on his swimming suit and gingerly stepped into the pool which was quite cold, probably from the 2 days of rain we recently had. He claimed if he went any further he would have a heart attack so Denis and I checked out the pool equipment and found a pole which we used to pull out the rack with the sopping wet clothes. The clothes were so wet I ran them through the washer again before hanging them in a safer place to dry.

Ciao,

Joan

Gene & Joan I love seeing all of the beautiful pictures. As one of your guests last year I wish I was there. Tiarra and her mom leave for Italy tomorrow. I would love to hear both Gene & Denis argue politics. Between the two of them they both had excellent points. Joan I know you get tired of it. They are both always right though! They always had me laughing. I hope Denis got his luggage and will receive no "package" this time. Continue to have fun and be safe. Kelli
